At high temperatures, AL6XN Tubing offers exceptional corrosion resistance. It has several qualities including very high strength, great formability and weldability, and corrosion resistance. It is less expensive than conventional nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloys. It demonstrates a significantly stronger resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking than the 300 series stainless steel sheets.
